 | Your house is always under attack by "enemies" that want to do it harm:
- The sun
- The earth
- The rain
- The kids
- The pet
- The movers
- The builder
Defending your home against one is possible, but these "enemies" are allies. They do the most damage when working together.
Here are some combined attacks that often occur and the damage that results from it:
- The sun and rain = exterior paint failure = wood rot on windows and doors
- The earth, rain and builder = foundation settling = drywall cracks and water in your crawl space
- The kids and pet = excess wear and tear = floor and wall surface damage
How do you protect your home against these attacks? By being a responsible homeowner. You are the guard walking the perimeter, watching for what lurks outside. You are ready to call reinforcements at a moments notice. You are ready to call Fixin' To Repair to help mend the damage before the next attack arrives.
